For reliable operation of communication system, good power quality becomes very important. As per IEEE power quality is defined as the concept of powering equipment in a manner that is suitable to the operation of the equipment. Any deviation in frequency, transients, voltage sags and swells, flickers, voltage fluctuations, harmonics and phase unbalance.
