Electromagnetic Interference and Reliability Issues in a Satellite Communication Facility

ABSTRACT

The communication equipment’s are increasingly sensitive to power quality issues especially in terms of performance, requiring following of various international standards and procedures in dealing with grounding issues and avoidance of interferences from other sources. Sensitivity to electrical inference varies dramatically from one system to another and from one electrical environment to another. The case study furnished explains the issues involved and possible solutions to overcome them.
