ABSTRACT

Large corporates before setting a new plant in an industrial locality would like to be sure of power quality of the electricity supplied by the utility. Especially when the supply is at extra high voltage level of 230 kV, which is availed by a few consumers of huge power requirement, it would be prudent to check incoming power quality of an existing consumer in the vicinity. The case study narrated here is such an exercise.
