Webinar Date: 13-08-2021
Webinar Time: 4.00 PM to 5.30 PM IST

INTRODUCTION

The Prime Objective of the kVAh based billing is to encourage the consumers to maintain near unity Power factor to achieve loss reduction, improve system stability, power quality and improve voltage profile. At the national level, emphasis is being given to Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management (DSM) to optimize the energy usage. Through kVAh billing, the consumers will be encouraged to adopt energy efficiency programs and will be benefited by reduced electricity bills. This Webinar will address why kVAh billing is important and beneficial for end users in terms for energy efficiency and safety.

Learn about the 4 key issues which could be driving your energy bills higher due to poor Power Quality

  • Reactive power & Reactive Energy compensation
  • Abrupt load changes and compensation
  • Unbalanced load compensation (fixed & dynamic)
  • Harmonics in the electrical network

Session Moderator: Amol Kalsekar, Chief Manager, ICA India
