BEE, PEDA, MGSIPA, and PSCST together have organized a "One Day Capacity Building Training Programme on Energy Efficiency & Conservation in Textile and Dyeing Industries" where we are getting a chance to interact with participants.

"Good PQ means Good Business". The textile sector is one of the major industry sectors that is affected due to various aspects of poor power quality. There are substantial financial implications associated with poor power quality in terms of loss in productivity due to breakdowns, premature aging and failure of equipment, higher energy charges, and above all risk of safety breach.

In order to address the issue, APQI brought out a "PQ Application note for textile industries" produced to promote good selection, application and best practices to benefit a wide range of users, equipment designers and utility engineers as well.
